LeMer Collection

Proper replicas that mark a moment in time, yet are timeless in style and craftsmanship.

Known for her dramatic expressions, impeccable style and love of a good Manhattan, Margaux LeMer rose to fame as an iconic silent screen starlette of the 1920's*.

Margaux worked in over 110 films throughout her 60 year tenure in Hollywood, but was most adored and admired for her snappy sense of style.

Margaux’s fetching elegance was so coveted that she was instrumental in setting fashion trends throughout her lifetime.  Coco Channel once remarked, “I always liked the look of blue beads, but Margaux suggested I try pearls, and the rest, as they say, is history. C’est Le Vie!

Upon Margaux’s death in 1982, her closets were sealed to prevent public hysteria and the creation of cheap and tawdry imitations. Only recently have the guardians of Ms. LeMer’s estate allowed access to her closets, granting us permission to lovingly & accurately reproduce her chapeaus, handbags and accessories. Due to the generosity of the LeMer estate, replicas of Margaux's treasures can now be yours.

It is with immense pleasure that we bring to you the LeMer Collection. Own a piece of faux history, delve into the stories and create your own history with a LeMer.

Crafted from exotic vintage fabrics, it has a silk lining, interior pocket (for diamond trinkets) and is embellished with a crystal drawstring accent and dramatic hanging tassel. This cinched wristlet makes music when you step into the room. Although Margaux fashioned a platinum and diamond bracelet (a gift from Price Philippe’ of Moldavia) as the wristlet, we have taken liberties and used a crystal encrusted bangle. Slip this on and dance to the song in your heart.

Margaux received a 21-gun salute when she entered the White House with this natty chapeaux.  Known as a frequent guest of President Coolidge and First Lady Grace, Ms. LeMer’s smart fashion sense overshadowed her inability to use an oyster fork in public. Crafted in a demure, upcycled, men suiting wool, and a ladylike buckle detail, you too will received the Presidential Stamp of Approval coming and going.
